What is Flire Blight?
Fireblight is a contagious disease that commonly affects trees such as Pears and Crabapples, as well as other plants in the Rosaceae family. Unfortunately, once the pathogen is present, it cannot be eradicated. However, our program aims to suppress visible symptoms and prolong the overall viability of affected trees. We do this by administering a series of fungicide treatments that must begin in early spring, prior to bud break.
In addition to treating for fireblight, we also address other foliar fungus issues such as Rust, Leaf Spot, and Anthracnose on trees like Crabapples, Cherries, Hawthornes, Dogwood, and Sycamore. This series of treatments, which consists of 3 to 4 applications, is administered in early spring and spaced 14 days apart.
**Our arsenal will receive a new Soil Injected Fungicide this fall to improve the reduction of Foliar Fungus symptoms.
