Deer can be a nuisance to landscapes, as they have a voracious appetite and often target certain plants such as Arborvitae, Yews, and Hydrangea. The majority of damage is done during the winter months when natural food sources are scarce.
Our deer guard treatments are safe for the environment and harmless to wildlife. We use a blend of different peppers to create a bitter taste in the deer’s mouth, which discourages them from eating in the treated area. The effectiveness of the treatment can last from 14 to 30 days depending on several factors. We usually schedule these treatments bi-monthly, but we can increase the frequency of treatments as needed.
