What is the Mature Specimen Tree Program?

We will assess your tree’s current condition and develop a plan to help achieve optimum health and longevity. Our multi-faceted approach includes several, fully customizable treatments to best address your specific needs. These treatments may be applied singularly or in combination over the course of the year and may be adjusted year to year as needed based on on-going monitoring.

1. Deep Root Fertilization – Provides various nutrients and special soil amendments directly to the root zone of the tree.
2. Soil Drench Systemics – Introduced directly to the root zone, these materials are distributed throughout the tree via the vascular system to control various damaging pest.
3. Trunk Drench Systemics – Materials are applied directly to the trunk and include a special penetrant allowing the product to directly enter the tree’s vascular system for fast distribution.
4. Trunk Injection – Utilizes special equipment to introduce a high dose directly into the vascular system. We employ both micro and macro injection techniques to achieve the desired results for different materials.
5. Growth Regulators – By slowing the trees growth rate, energy can be redirected towards root growth and improving the tree’s internal ability to combat stress. This treatment is especially helpful in reducing general age decline.
